Activity Description:  A Manga club is for students who are avid readers of Manga to read or discuss their favorites. {Manga, a Japanese genre consisting of comic books and graphic novels, are typically black-and-white and featuring stylized characters with large, round eyes.  the word Manga can be translated as, "humorous pictures."  Japanese Manga is to be read from the right side to the left, opposite of traditional American books.  Not only do you read the pages from right to left, but you also read the panels and text from right to left.}
 
Activities:  Sharing anime DVD's, Manga art contests, playing Manga-based games, activities comparing cultural differences between Japan and USA, make your own Manga or Manga crafts, comparing Manga anime, graphic novels and comic books, comparing Shonen Manga to Shojo Manga, trading Manga, and creating/maintaining a Manga blog.

Activity Description: A club for Varsity athletes to gather, discuss and volunteer their leadership potential in support of all Clearview athletic venues, fundraising activities and charitable purpose. It will also provide a means to develop leadership potential and gain further experience and knowledge beyond the classroom and their athletic abilities.
