How to prepare your works
cited page?
This page is the last page of your paper.
All of the margins are one inch.
Times New Roman is the font on this
page.
The entire page should have font size 12pt.
The entire page is double-spaced.
This page is titled: Works Cited.
The title is centered.
The letters W and C are capitalized.
Do not underline Works
Cited or use boldface
All the entries are in alphabetical order.
Each
entry begins at the left margin. The entry continues across the page, as though
you were typing a sentence, until you reach the right margin.
If the
entry is more than one line, you indent the second and third lines
1/2" from the margin.
The
author, title, and publication information is separated by a period.
One space
follows all punctuation.
You need to remove the hyperlink to the web site
address. (This means the web site address must be black and not underlined.)
If you are citing two or more books by
the same author, you give the name in the first entry only. In the
following entries, in place of the name, you type three hyphens followed by
a period. (The hyphens stand for the same name as the preceding
entry.)
