This course is designed for athletes as well as non-athletes.  Students will learn to choose foods to enhance their performance.  The course is designed for students interested in maintaining or losing weight through proper nutrition, as well.  Students will study nutrition and its effect on the body including helpful hints to produce quick and nutritious meals.  Sampling of food prepared in each unit is a requirement.
