Marketing Education 2
Due to possible class size restrictions, students may be selected based on multiple criteria, including Marketing Education 1 grade point average, career interest, Co-Op requirements, DECA participation, and teacher recommendation. Marketing Education 2 provides advanced training and skills development in marketing, employment, and career exploration. Students also learn of alternative employment opportunities in the entrepreneurship unit. Students can continue the practical application of Marketing Education by competing in DECA. Business related computer training is expanded to include an introduction to Access databases and PowerPoint presentations. Also, students are provided with specific skills that they will use through their personal and employment lives. These skills include personal finance, stress management, time management, employment safety, and contract law.
