Susan J. Beatrice (Williams)

Susan graduated from Clearview Regional High School in 1979.  Since graduating with honors from Clearview, Susan continued her education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.  She trained professionally as a sculptor at the Franklin Mint for several years and then headed up the 3-D department as sculptor/designer at Panosh Place.  She then formed her own company, Beatrice Designs, Inc., and currently oversees a staff of six as well as numerous freelancers.  Specializing in "capturing" the look of licensed characters with accuracy, she has clients including Disney, Warner Bros., Jim Henson Productions, DreamWorks, Sony, Waterford Crystal, Galoob, Toy Biz, and many others.

While still in high school, Susan illustrated textbooks for the State of NJ through the Vocational Arts Advanced Placement Program and had her paintings displayed in the Congressional Offices of Rep. James Florio.   Locally, Susan is well known for her painting hanging in the Clearview Media Center.  Recently, Beatrice Designs, Inc. created a line of action figures for Henson Co.'s popular Farscape Sci-Fi series.

Susan's work has been featured everywhere from the Congressional offices to the International Toy Fair to the Disneyanna Conventions and can be found in the Disney Theme Parks, Disney Stores, Toys R Us and in many publications relating to these fields.

Susan presently lives in Glassboro, New Jersey.
