Clearview Regional High School Annual District Objectives

2006 - 2007

By June, 2007, as a result of collaboration with a District Mathematics Instructional Supervisor, continued intensive training of staff in instructional strategies, training in HSPA math skill areas, alignment of curricula to the mathematics clusters in the NJCCCS, inclusion of a supplemental math program, and subsequent instruction of students in high levels of mathematical thought, including inquiry, problem solving, communication, making connections, and reasoning, the total 11th grade population will exceed the 2006-2007 adequate yearly progress proficiency percentage set by the State of New Jersey for the mathematics section of the HSPA and all subgroups will reach safe harbor.  An additional goal of the objective is to increase the advanced proficiency percentage by ten percent.  This is the second year of a three-year objective.    

 

By June, 2007, as a result of continued intensive training of staff in instructional strategies, training in HSPA LAL skill areas, realignment of the ICS model of instruction, subsequent instruction of students in high levels of language arts literacy: including inferential and analytical reading, making connections beyond the varied text types, and persuasive and speculative writing, the total 11th grade population will meet the 2006-2007 adequate yearly progress proficiency percentage set by the State of New Jersey for the LAL section of the HSPA and all subgroups will reach safe harbor.  An additional goal of the objective is to increase the advanced proficiency percentage by ten percent.  This is the second year of a three-year objective.
