The Teaching-Learning Process in Clearview
Clearview Regional is committed to delivering instruction that increases student academic achievement. To that end, they have researched both how students learn and how to deliver an instructional program that supports that learning. Using the latest research on the essential elements of instruction and brain research, our programs offer students an opportunity to grow and achieve at high levels.
The district, likewise, has a strong commitment to the preparation and support of their staff in the acquisition of teaching strategies that promote the achievement of all students.
Learning Styles and Student Achievement
The Clearview Regional High School District has entered into a partnership with Performance Learning Systems to provide online staff development training for teachers in the district. Designed for students, teachers, and parents, the Learning Styles staff development program addresses specific learning or work styles by utilizing the latest findings in brain research. Included in these modules is a system developed by Performance Learning Systems called The Kaleidoscope ProfileŽ, a learning style inventory that combines three research-backed surveys into one profile. Parents, students, and teachers are invited to take the survey to learn their own natural approach to learning.
