Board of Education Special Meeting

September 9, 2004

Call to Order:

The Special Meeting of the Clearview Regional Board of Education was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the President, Mrs. Diane Reuter, in the Administration Board Conference Room.

Statement of Public Meeting in Accordance with the New Jersey Public Meetings Act:

It was announced that in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act (Chapter 231, P.L. 1975),advance notice of this meeting has been provided by publishing written notice in the media and posting notice at the District Administration Building.

Members Present:

Mr. Smith, Mr. McCafferty, Mrs. Shappell, Mr. Betlejewski, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Wolk, Mrs. Reuter, President, Mr. Toscano, Superintendent, Mr. Horchak, Business Administrator.

Members Absent:

Mr. Johnson, Mr. Miller

Flag Salute:

The Flag Salute was said by all present.

Superintendent/Business Administrator's Report

Mr. Toscano updated the Board of Education on the Building Project. This updated included the Soil Conservation District Concerns and an Inspection Update.

Tour of Buildings

Mr. Toscano, Mr. Horchak and the Board of Education toured the High School and Middle School.

Superintendent's Report

For the Good of Clearview

Adjournment:

Mr. McCafferty moved, seconded by Mr. Betlejewksi, that the Board of education adjourn the meeting in order for the Board to review the condition of the building prior to the opening of school.

The motion was unanimously approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
