to Order:
The President, Mr. Raymond Miller called the Worksession/Regular
Meeting of the Clearview Regional Board of Education to order in the
Administration Building Public Meeting Room at 7:30 p.m.
Statement
of Public Meeting in Accordance with the New Jersey Public Meetings Act:
It was announced that in accordance with the Open
Public Meetings Act (Chapter 231, P.L. 1975), advance notice of this meeting
has been provided by publishing written notice in the media and posting notice
at the District Administration Building.

Paying Bills Received Through May 31, 2006:
Allowing the Assistant Superintendent
for Business and Operations to pay any bills in which all documentation has
been received up until May 31, 2006 due to the fact the board meeting date is
early.

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:20-2A.10(d) that the Board
certify that as of March 31, 2006, after review of the secretary's monthly
financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the
appropriate district officials, to the best of their knowledge no major account
or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6:20-A.10(a) and that
sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for
the remainder of the fiscal year.

WHEREAS, Clearview Regional Board of Education
policy and NJAC 6A:23B-1.2(b) provides that the Board of Education shall
establish, in the annual school budget, a maximum expenditure amount that may
be allotted for such travel and expense reimbursements for the 2006/2007 school
year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Clearview
Regional Board of Education hereby establishes the school district travel
maximum for the 2006/2007 school year at a sum of $30,000, and
BE IT FURTHER RESORLVED, that the School Business
Administrator shall track and record these costs to ensure that the maximum
amount is not exceeded.

The following new scholarships (recipients to be
selected by faculty awards committee):

John Fiocco, Jr. Memorial Award
$1,000 to a student athlete who demonstrates integrity, strong character
traits, and determination, has a 3.0 GPA and plans to attend college

Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Zeta State, PI Chapter Award (Founded in
Memory of Joyce Holleny)
$500 to a young woman who is pursuing a career in education, has participation
in co-curricular activities, is an outstanding citizen and has been accepted to
attend a four-year college. (This is a
one-time award.)

Theresa Tanner Memorial Scholarship Award
$1,000 awarded to a student who has excelled in the field of family &
consumer sciences and plans to continue his/her education at a technical school
or college.

$100 awarded to student who has excelled in the field of science and plans to
attend college.

Alan David Dembowski Memorial Award
$200 awarded to a student who has excelled in Music.

$300 awarded to a male and a female student in recognition of outstanding
achievement and interest in the field of Architecture, Engineering or Computer
Aided Drafting and Design with a 3.0 GPA and planning to continue their
education.

Michael Mariano Memorial Award
$500 awarded to two students who work hard in school, are well-rounded, kind,
helpful to others, involved in school activities and will be attending college.

Stop & Shop of Mullica Hill Scholarship
Award
$500 to two high achieving students who
are involved in school and community activities and planning to attend college.

Gloucester County Association of School
Business Officials
$750.00 to a graduating senior who is continuing their education in the areas
of Finance, Business or Accounting and has been accepted to a four year
college.

Session:
Mr. Betlejewski moved, seconded by Dr. DeTolla, that the Board of Education
adjourn into executive session.
The motion was unanimously approved.
Mr. Miller read the following resolution:
It is hereby resolved that the Board of Education
will now go into executive session to discuss personnel/negotiations. Any discussion held by the Board, which need
not remain confidential, will be made public as soon as practicable. Minutes of the executive session will not be
disclosed until the need for confidentiality no longer exists. The Board will reconvene into public session
at the conclusion of the closed session.
